Organising the journey

The journey is by plane, but for some countries close to Belgium, it is by bus. Fedasil pays the flight ticket or bus ticket.

When you leave Belgium, you carry a plastic bag from the IOM so that you can be recognised. Someone from the IOM will meet you at the airport (or bus station), give you your ticket and accompany you to the border control. If you wish, another person from the IOM can welcome you and accompany you on arrival in your home country.
