Policia garanton sigurine dhe rendin ne Belgjike. Ne qofte se rezidentet kane nevoje per ndihme, ata mund te telefonojne gjithmone policine.

Policia performon detyrat thelbesore si me poshte:
- Garantimin e sigurise dhe kontrollin e trafikut
- Trajtimin dhe parandalimin e kriminalitetit
- Siguron mbeshtetje ndaj publikut
- Garanton qe te gjithe banoret (Belg dhe shtetas te huaj) respektojne ligjin
Numrat e emergjences
Ne qofte se ju kerkoni mbeshtetje urgjente nga policia, telefononi ne numrin e emergjences 101.
A keni nevoje urgjente per nje ambulance ose zjarrfikese? Telefononil 112.
- A deshironi te flisni me policine ose te raportoni dicka? Telefononi, ose shkoni ne stacionin me te afert te policise. Ka nje stacion policie ne cdo komune.
Mos kini frike nga policia
Ne qofte se ju respektoni ligjin, ju nuk keni nevoje te kini frike nga policia.
- Oficeret e policise nuk do ju arrestojne apo ndalojne kurre pa arsye.
- Ju mund t'i afroheni atyre ne rruge dhe t'i pyesni per ndihme.
- Ne qofte se jeni grabitur, demtuar ose sulmuar, shkoni ne polici.
- Oficeret e policise do ju ndihmojne per te gjetur gjurmet e autoreve.
