What is the age test?
In a hospital, a doctor takes a radiograph of your teeth, collarbone and wrist. The test is painless. The doctor examines the photos and determines whether you are older or younger than 18 years. Based on the results of this age test, the Guardian service will decide whether or not you are a minor.
Adult?
What if the Guardian service decides that your are an adult and you disagree with the decision? Your lawyer can appeal against the decision (within 60 days). This procedure can take a long time. While waiting for a response, or if you do not appeal, you follow the asylum procedure for an adult.
